He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realise just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me. -
When I’m already gaining winter weight

To the mysterious driver,
To the driver of the red bmw 3series with black racing stripes,
Thank you for making the drive from cornell one of the most interesting rides in the past three years.
from,
the driver of the big ass silver SUV
Background of the story:
So after spending the past weekend at cornell, I left at around 830 to go home for my last week of internship. so the drive started off like every other drive home, except once i merged onto 81, i met this red bmw speeding down the highway. so naturally, i kept up with his speed. we were speeding for a while before he noticed that I would spontaneous slow down. and moments after i slowed down, there would be a cop car. so im guessing he figured out that i had a radar detector, so for the rest of the night, we sped the entire drive together.
this was great.
not only did i have a driver to make the drive more fun and bearable, we kept switching lead positions to spread the risk of getting pulled over. whenever my radar detector beeped, id slow down, and he’d immediately follow. but the more fun part was, when the roads began to get more crowded, we’d be each other’s lane-switching-cushion. one of us would slip into the other lane, and then slow down so the other would be able to squeeze in front. this made passing cars so much easier.
but the fun was over when he got off the monroe township exit about 40 mins away from my house :( sad to see him leave.
PS.
if youre not willing to go at least 10mph over the speed limit, GTFO OF THE LEFT LANE. please and thank you :)
